Class Overview
Tuesday and Thursday 2:10-3:10
We will be utilizing the Math-U-See Geometry curriculum for this year-long course.
Math-U-See Geometry emphasizes the vocabulary and practical applications of geometry, as well as traditional geometry with proofs. This includes lines, angles, area, perimeter, volume, Pythagorean theorem, axioms and postulates, congruency, and similarity. It also includes a brief introduction to trigonometric functions. At this level, Math-U-See manipulatives are not used. Instead, students will need the standard geometry tools: a protractor, compass, and straight edge.

Graph Paper Notebook for showing math work and working out equations & solutions (First one will be provided by Teacher)
Straight Edge and protractor (first one will be supplied by teacher)
A good attitude, ready to learn!
Material Fee: $15 material fee for consumables and other classroom supplies.
