OVERVIEW
Hands on Literature is a fun yet detailed class for Kinder-2nd grade students. Each month will hold a different theme and with that theme we will dive into different books and story elements. This class is meant to prepare young students with the basic understanding of the different parts of a story, such as character development, setting, sequencing of events, plot, cause and effect, ect. Once we go through our book and lesson of the day, we will close out the class with a different craft/project each week.  The hands-on activities will go through literature, science, math, social studies, geography, art, and a sprinkle of simple writing/tracing. We will be creating lapbook binders and by the end of the semester, they will be able to take home everything they have created and learned.

I am looking forward to diving into all the books and activities that we can get our hands on!

Coursework + Coursework at Home (Homework):
All coursework will be completed in class, there will be NO coursework to complete at home.

I will provide all the class supplies.
