Rock the Kitchen (3-5) OVERVIEW
Cooking and learning in the kitchen is a fun and delicious life-skill!! This year-long class is geared toward our “do-it-ourselves” 3rd through 5th graders that covers everything from kitchen tool safety to creating kid-tested, kid-approved snacks, shakes, and whole food meals that your young chef will be excited to recreate at home. We will cover everything from technique to nutrition. It will be held every Thursday from 10:05 AM to 11:05 AM. Students enrolled in this course will be enrolled for the entire class, BOTH semesters.
My goal with this course is to spark a love for being in the kitchen while creating meaningful meals that your child will be excited to tell you all about and try to recreate at home. I have years of experience with my own children, as well as hosting large scale cooking classes at our church’s kids summer camps.
