Michelle Wonders
Michelle has been educating young learners since 2008 when she graduated with her BS in Early Childhood Education and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSUS. She has taught in a variety of school settings over the years, beginning with several years teaching kindergarten and first grade in a traditional private Christian school. After her third child was born, she spent two years explicitly homeschooling her children, which was a beloved and eye opening experience. After that Michelle spent three years with an incredible co-op program where she led a variety of classes in lower elementary and middle school. It was the last few years of homeschooling and working with a resource program that reignited her passion for teaching in a creative and meaningful way. Ethos is a calling the Heavenly Father has guided her to and she is eager to see how her work can serve not only the Lord, but all the families she will cross paths with.
While not teaching, Michelle enjoys spending time with her three children and husband of 16 years. Her family has spent this first winter here in Boise learning how to snowboard and acclimate to the cooler temperatures. Michelle is an avid gardener, sourdough baker, and home cook. She spends her weekends exploring, hanging out with neighborhood families, attending church, and catching up with family near and far. She is excited to meet you and come alongside your family throughout your homeschooling adventure.
