Course Information:
Over the course of the semester each student will learn the following skills and information in the kitchen:
Review the following information
Food and kitchen equipment safety.
All the food groups and why they are important.
How to properly use a knife.
Setting a table and proper manners.
They will also get to share ideas, eat together and work as a team!
All classes will start with a nutrition game or activity to teach the students about healthy choices they can make at home.
They will also build a cookbook over the course of the school year to take home at the end.
Samples of the themes for the classes (I also take suggestions from the class on recipes they would like to make.)
