Course Information:

Over the course of the semester each student will learn the following skills and information in the kitchen:

Review the following information

  • Food and kitchen equipment safety.

  • All the food groups and why they are important.

  • How to properly use a knife.

  • Setting a table and proper manners.

  • They will also get to share ideas, eat together and work as a team!

  • All classes will start with a nutrition game or activity to teach the students about healthy choices they can make at home.

  • They will also build a cookbook over the course of the school year to take home at the end.
