Hello Everyone! I am excited to share my passion of cooking with my love of teaching. I spent several years volunteering with the Idaho Food Bank (IFB) as a culinary instructor with their Cooking Matters program. While volunteering with the IFB, I found Healthy Hands Cooking and continue to develop my skills with teaching others how to cook and enjoy food.

Career
I recently retired from the Idaho Army National Guard (IDARNG) after 24 years in service. During this time, I worked both in Information Technology to a Food Advisor. As a Food Advisor, I help to plan and manage the food service operations for over 3,000 Soldiers.
Outside of the military, I run a small business out of house doing alterations, PraiseMoves (Christian alternative to yoga) and cooking classes. I have also spent a year working in Child Nutrition for the Idaho Department of Education, which has enhanced my resources and abilities as an instructor.
Hobbies
Besides cooking and spending time with my family, I sew, lift weights, run, practice martial arts and hunt.
