Rock the Kitchen (6-12) OVERVIEW

Cooking and learning in the kitchen is a fun and delicious life-skill. This year-long class is geared toward our up-and-coming young chefs and savvy entrepreneurs for 9th through 12th graders. We will cover everything from kitchen safety to plating techniques, to creating healthy snacks and whole food meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Your budding chef will be excited to plate, photograph, and share their creations at home or for use in building a portfolio. Tried and true basics, technique, and nutrition will be the building blocks your student will master. This class will be held every Tuesday from 2:10 PM to 3:10 PM.  Students enrolled in this course will be enrolled for the entire class, BOTH semesters.

My goal with this course is to spark a love for being in the kitchen while creating meaningful meals that your child will be excited to tell you all about and try to recreate at home. I have years of experience with my own children, as well as hosting large scale cooking classes at our church’s kids summer camps.
