Calling all Lego Scientists!
Dive into the world of Lego Science while we learn about physics and engineering while practicing team building and public speaking skills. Class topics will include motion and forces, simple machines, states of matter, the engineering process and engineering design, famous scientists and the scientific method. Together we will explore these scientific concepts by building bridges, Lego mazes, marble runs, Lego cars, catapults, balloon ziplines and so much more! Students work together on teams the majority of classes to successfully complete the daily challenges.
Each class is structured with a 2 min challenge build, a fun Lego short (stop motion animation or Lego skills and tricks) a science lesson, a Lego build and build share presentations or competition. All skill levels are welcomed!!
*This is a great class for building social skills and for any and all students who love to talk! This is not a quiet class. (o:

Materials Fee:
$15 - for class handouts and booklets PLUS includes a Lego character minifigure which will be theirs to keep at the end of class.
This one hour core course tuition is $200/semester plus a $15 material fee/semester.
Eligible for charter school reimbursement.
