With over 18 years of teaching experience, I am thrilled to be part of the Ethos team!  I have served in a variety of different roles including self-contained classroom teacher in public and private schools, homeschool co-op coordinator, school board member and educational coach for several independent learning charter schools.  I have served as the children's ministry director for many years.  I also present at educational conferences on the subject of current findings in brain research and education.  Based on that research, my classes are very interactive and filled with students talking and conversing about the topic of the day. I hold a BA in sociology, a master’s degree in education and a CA clear credential with a CLAD certificate all from Vanguard University of Southern California.

Having homeschooled our two boys for eleven years, I love working with our homeschool community and providing unique summer experiences for students at our farm in Meridian.  Together my husband and I run "The Great Outdoors" summer camp at our farm and teach survival skills, BB guns, archery, wildcrafting and other nature skills.  My husband, Mr. Harold, teaches the Archery class.

We have been married for 22 years and besides our 2 amazing boys, we also have 2 cats, 3 dogs, 4 goats, 6 lambs, 4 alpacas, 1 bunny, 28 chickens, 2 parakeets, a school of fish and a hedgehog.
