WELCOME TO APOLOGIA HUMAN ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY FOR GRADES 3-6!
Apologia has been the go-to science curriculum of homeschoolers for decades! This one day per week course will be filled with engaging lessons and activities that will teach, inspire, and force your student to see themselves in a whole new way! It is geared toward students in grades 3-6.
Weekly homework is required and will consist of reading the textbook, learning the vocabulary, and completing pages in the Student Notebooking Journal. The weekly time commitment outside of class is ~1.5-2 hours per week, depending on the student. This is a year-long course and is not eligible for charter school funds due to its religious nature. However, there will be plenty of quality work samples for you to provide.

Take this in-depth journey into the anatomy and physiology of your body; from the brain in your head to the nails on your toes, you and your students will encounter fascinating facts, engaging activities, intriguing experiments, and load of fun as you learn about the huma body and how to keep it working well. You students will voyage through fourteen lessons covering many subjects, such as the body systems: skeletal, muscular, respiratory, digestive, cardiovascular, nervous, and more!

If you have more than one student taking this course, they will need their own Student Notebooking Journal.
The long, thin, self-sharpening crayons - colored pencils need constant sharpening and markers bleed through the pages
Mechanical pencil and lead refills – Please no pencil sharpeners in class. They are very messy.

PAYMENT METHODS AND SCHEDULES:
The cost of this course is $200/semester with a non-refundable $35 materials fee for needed supplies. These fees will be paid directly to Ethos who will provide you with payment information and schedules.
