PowerMoves Kids (K-5)

PowerMoves Kids (PMK) is helps children stay focused and on-task, while having fun moving their bodies to these easy-to-follow stretching postures.   PMK is a Character Education Curriculum for PK-8th grades-with Health, Nutrition & Fitness information, too! By reciting a character-building quote with each gentle stretch, children are being taught character education at the same time—exercising their minds and emotions while exercising their bodies.  

PMK postures become mnemonic devices to help anchor in empowering life principles such as respect, trustworthiness, honesty and self-control. In PowerMoves Kids, character-building quotes go along with each Character Trait and Exercise to fill children's minds with excellent, high-level thoughts such as: "Honesty is the best policy."(Miguel de Cervantes; Character Trait: Honesty) or "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."(The GoldenRule; Character Trait: Cari)
