This year-long class will dive into the details on vaccines and the infectious diseases for which they are indicated.

My plan is to take students on an exploratory journey of the material, and my goal is to truly spark their interest in this topic. Students will be encouraged to respectfully share their thoughts and perspectives in class and expand their learning outside of class.
Most of the material will be based on the content at my website, Vaccine Guide. Students will learn how to access and navigate the website as well as search the medical literature for research on relevant topics.
Classroom Supplies: No required textbooks. Pencil or pen, highlighter, notebook for taking notes, letter size (A4) accordion/expanding file folder/organizer with 8-13 pockets (example) to keep and sort class handouts.
Materials Fee: $20 per student, paid to https://venmo.com/u/everlyash
Homework: 30 minutes or less per week to review the material from the previous class.
Tuition: The cost of this course is $160 per semester and will be paid directly to ETHOS. They will provide you with payment information and schedules.
