Kimberly Danz

My name is Kimberly Danz, and I am excited to share the beauty of American Sign Language with your students! As a Deaf educator, I bring not only language instruction but also firsthand insight into Deaf culture and the rich history of the Deaf community.

I have been deaf my whole life, and ASL is my first language. Because of this, I had the opportunity to teach English and sign language to people who were from other countries! I moved here from Northern California 2 years ago with my husband, Dale, two kids, my daughter Kat and my son Nate, who also sign. In my free time I enjoy doing many fun things such as kayaking, crocheting, hosting Deaf socials, traveling and just spending time with family and friends!

My classes will focus on creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where students can develop practical signing skills while gaining an appreciation for Deaf culture, communication, and inclusion.

Whether your student is learning ASL for future career opportunities, to communicate with Deaf friends and family, or simply to explore a new language, my goal is for every student to leave class feeling encouraged, capable, and excited to continue learning.

I look forward to meeting your family and learning together this year!
