Hello! I am super excited and honored to be working with Ethos and every homeschool family to create a fiercely God loving community to support God's children! As a teacher/coach it has been a primary focus of mine to first and foremost keep my classes fun and engaging! It's a lot easier to learn something when you're having fun! Chess is my main focus and passion, the hidden benefits behind learning chess has always been something that fascinates me. Watching God use chess to improve focus, respect, work ethic, and critical thinking is so amazing!

I was homeschooled my entire life, my mom always focused on values when teaching us. You could be the smartest person in the room, but without God at the front of your life, everything else will fall apart. He has to come first. Always.

As a kid I missed out on sports early, but when I was 12 I got into chess! It was an amazing opportu-nity with homeschoolers in a team environment. This taught me the value of teamwork, learning from losses, respecting my opponents, and a passion for teaching.

Ever since, I haven't looked back, competing at the highest levels of the state for 5 years, winning tournaments, including the state championship title in 2023 and 2025. I discovered my passion for teaching back in 2021 specializing in private classes. I look forward to where God takes me from here! Hopefully to share my love of the game, and Christ, in the classroom!

*Hobbies include: Chess, running, Muay Thai, cooking, piano, working out, and anything outside!
