Kimberley Smith

I have been a homeschool mom for 15 years. In Virginia, when my kids were very little, I taught middle and high school science and math for the co-op there. I have taught through pre-calculus and physics and help my son with his college level calculus and physics. I am a mechanical engineer by trade. I have worked over 10 years primarily in the semiconductor industry at Applied Materials. We made the systems that make the chips for all the computers in the world. I have a BME from Auburn University in Alabama. I love teaching, and enjoy helping other young adults find their way and learn new things. I help at many different organizations that my children attend. I am the shepherd at American Heritage Girls, mentor for VERN 5461 FRC robotics, spirit wear for pony club and just mom support for Civil Air Patrol and 4H. My son has graduated homeschooling and is at CWI transferring to a 4 year for Computer Engineering and my daughter attends Ethos. She will be a junior next year and in the class. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or join us in class. I'm happy to help.
