Kyla Festerly

Hey there my name is Kyla Festerly. I am a mother of six and have been homeschooling for 13 years with my now two oldest children graduated from high school. I love homeschooling! I believe that each child is created in the image of God, uniquely designed to fulfill their purpose. Part of our role as parents is to help our children acheive their full potential by teaching them how to read, write, and mathematically think. When these important abilities are available to our children, we open up to them a realm of possibility. Many of which our kids are already drawn to like writing fiction, studying history, delving into real life science, sports, STEM, or art... the possibilities are endless.

I am also a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through Christ we can understand not only who we are at the core of our nature, but undertsand what we are designed for by listening and obeying all that He has comanded. I believe that nothing instills confidence in our childern like an identity that is rooted in Christ.

Other things that I absolutely love are dating my husband, sitting around campfires with my family, reading historical and non-fiction memoirs, spending time with friends, training in strength, TABATAs, and HIIT, walking daily, and listening to interesting stories through podcasts.
