Joseph Verissimo started his career with Wells Fargo at the age of 19 as a bank teller. The Lord blessed his efforts, and he was promoted 4 times in two years until he reached the position of premier banker/financial advisor. He worked for Wells Fargo for several years at multiple locations around the central coast. Until he was invited out to lunch by his friend Robert. Joe was a sucker for lunch and was happy to go. At lunch his friend showed Joe what we call “Biblically Responsible Investing.” Where you care just as much about how a company makes money, as you do that the company makes money. For his friend, he had discovered that three of the company’s he personally owned were selling abortion drugs. This would be a big revelation for the average Christian. But, for his friend, it was bigger because at the same time he was the president of a pregnancy center. Considering this revelation Joe's friend decided to leave Wells Fargo and start his own firm devoted to a biblical way of investing. Joe decided to leave his career at the bank and join his friend in this endeavor to bring God glory in all he did.
