As an experienced education with a passion for teaching, Megan has dedicated  years to shaping the minds of young learners from kindergarten to 8th grade. Helping others and teaching has always been a passion for her. 

Beyond the classroom, Megan channels her love for lifelong learning into teaching sourdough baking to adults, who come from all over the treasure valley. She started Sourdough Sisters once she moved to Idaho summer of 2022. Through hands-on workshops and personalized instruction, empowering others to discover the joy of artisanal breadmaking, and bringing us back to our roots of simplified baking. 

Family is at the heart of Megan's Life, with a loving husband and two wonderful children who bring joy and fulfillment to every moment. Cherishing family adventures and creating lasting memories through the beauty God has created is what brings their family the most joy.

Cooking is not just a hobby for Megan, but a therapeutic outlet where creativity and nourishment intersect. Whether experimenting with new recipes or crafting comforting meals for loved ones, finding solace and satisfaction in the kitchen, where each dish tells a story of warmth and togetherness. 

When not immersed in the kitchen, Megan loves to read, adventure out on trails with her kids, fish, road trips, and camping with her family. 

With a heart filled with love, faith and a deep reverence for the wonders of life, Megan embodies the values of compassion, kindness, and service. Through her dedication to education, her passion for baking, and love for God and family, she tries to inspire others to embrace the beauty of life's journey and to walk each day with purpose and gratitude.
