Teacher Bio — Mrs. Nichole Thomas

Welcome! My name is Nichole Thomas. It is truly a privilege to partner with families in their homeschool journey at Ethos Academy. Encouraging students to grow into strong, capable, God-loving young people who use their gifts to positively impact the world is something I care deeply about.

As a mom of four, I have a deep appreciation for community-centered educational opportunities like Ethos Academy and the partnership it creates between families and teachers.

In my classroom, I strive to create an environment where students feel encouraged, respected, and excited to learn. I often remind students of our family motto:
“There are only two things you can control — your effort and your attitude. The rest is up to the Lord.”

My background includes more than 20 years of leadership, teaching, and coaching. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and credentialed Behavioral Change Specialist, with many years of experience coaching youth and adults in goal setting, health, and personal development. I also enjoy serving in children’s ministry and Vacation Bible School.

My husband is a Lieutenant with the Caldwell Police Department and enjoys coaching youth flag football and baseball. Together we have four wonderful children. Our oldest daughter Justynne will graduate this September with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and our second daughter Jayden will graduate from Ole Miss in May 2026. Our son Jaxyn (10) attends Ethos and loves sports, and our youngest, Joey, is our joyful toddler who will turn three this August.

As a family we love staying active and spending time outdoors — floating the river, tubing on the lake, hiking, camping, and gathering around a good campfire. We also love a little friendly competition and enjoy sports, games, and just about anything that gets people moving and having fun together.

I graduated from San José State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Nutrition Science and Kinesiology. I look forward to partnering with your family and making this a year filled with growth, curiosity, and joy in learning.
