Armstrong, Jacqueline

Jacqueline has always felt at home in the kitchen. By the time she could walk she was already in the kitchen with her mother, making the secret chocolate chip family recipe. At the age of 2, she could assemble all of the ingredients on her own, and her love for concocting delicious bites in the kitchen only grew. When Jacqueline was pregnant with her firstborn, she met a nutritionist that completely transformed her view of food. Therefore, she was able to couple her passion for learning, with her knowledge about how our bodies process different compounds. She only cooks with organic, unenriched ingredients, and tries to support local farmers as much as possible. She believes that taking care of our bodies through proper nutrition can be delicious and fun! Jacqueline has 4 children of her own ages 11, 5, 3, and 7 months. Her children are often welcomed to participate in the kitchen while she cooks or bakes. Last year, she opened up her own  home-based bakery where she creates nutrient dense items for local customers.

Jacqueline began homeschooling her children 3 1/2 years ago out of necessity due to the state of the country at that time. Yet, God began to reveal to her how important it is for mother's to be at the head of education for their children. Today, she fully believes that it is our right as parents to train and instruct our children in the way that they should go. Being able to teach other children something that has brought her so much peace, comfort and joy has been a blessing. She looks forward to another amazing year of helping students grow, cultivating an environment of belonging in the class, and extending the love of Christ to one another in our gatherings.
