Teachers

Melissa is an experienced PreK & Kindergarten educator with over 7 years of experience in Early Elementary Education and over 15 years of experience serving children and families in a church environment. This is her fourth year teaching at Ethos (formally ILA).  She fell in love with Early Elementary Education when her son’s preschool director asked Melissa to work for her preschool.  She loved working with young children so much, that she went on to further her education in early childhood education through Sierra College and Cerro Coso College.  

She is married to her high school sweetheart Mike, and they have been married for 22 years.  Together they have one son Lucas (14) and two crazy pups “Nugget” a spirited Lhasa Apso and “Rosey” the sweetest Yellow Labrador you will ever meet.  Things they enjoy as a family are going to church, the movies, spending time with family near and far, kayaking, hiking, watching sports, and having fun with friends. She is looking forward to partnering with your family this year at Ethos.
