Melissa Romero

Melissa is an experienced PreK and Kindergarten educator with over 9 years of experience in Early Elementary Education and more than 15 years of experience working with children and families in a church setting. This will be her sixth year teaching at Ethos. Her passion for Early Elementary Education began when her son's preschool director invited her to work there at her son's school. She enjoyed working with young children so much that she decided to further her education in early childhood education through Sierra College and Cerro Coso College.

Melissa is married to her high school sweetheart, Mike, and they have been together for 24 years. They have one son, Lucas, who is 16, and two energetic dogs: "Nugget," a spirited Lhasa Apso, and "Rosey," the sweetest Yellow Labrador you'll ever meet. As a family, they enjoy attending church, watching movies, spending time with family near and far, kayaking, hiking, and watching the San Francisco 49ers. Melissa looks forward to partnering with your family this year at Ethos.
