Welcome to Cooking Club (3-6)! Cooking and learning in the kitchen is a fun and delicious life-skill. This year-long class is geared toward our curious and creative chefs in 3rd through 6th grade. We will cover everything from kitchen tool safety and plating techniques to understanding recipes and keys to good nutrition. This class will be held every Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Students enrolled in this course will be enrolled for both semesters.
My goal with this course is to grow a love for being in the kitchen, and to foster communication and teamwork, while creating meaningful meals. My hope is to see confidence grow, along with an eagerness to cook our tried recipes for family at home.
This is a peanut-free zone during all cooking classes.
