Welcome to Art Adventures (K-3), where Kindergarten through Third Grade artists will have hands-on opportunity to explore a variety of techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and more! In this sensory class, students will discuss, write and learn about textures, patterns and color. We will discover how to use line, space and value to let our imagination soar! Our first semester will focus on drawing, collage and printmaking, while our second semester will focus on fun water-based painting mediums and techniques. Completed projects will be collected and sent home at the end of each semester.
Class will begin promptly at 11:10 PM on Tuesdays in the Sanctuary (1A). Weather permitting, we will occasionally create outdoors. Students enrolled in this course will be enrolled for the entire school year.
