Calling all archers and bowmen!  Learn to shoot like Legolas while exploring the Archers of History and Literature!  Join us for our introductory archery course where students will learn the 11 Steps of Archery Success and become proficient in using the compound bow while also diving into literature and history to learn the stories of some of the world's most notorious archers.

This class is divided into 2 rotating sections where students will spend half of the class time on the outside archery range learning the basic skills of archery, and the other half of the class reading about famous archers, recreating and acting out the stories of historic and fictional archers and occasionally crafting these chronicles.

*This is a great class for building social skills and for any and all students who love to talk!  This is not a quiet class.  (o:

Archery instructor certified through NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program).

Supplies Needed: None

Materials Fee:

$45 (per semester) for each students' own arrows (bows will be provided) plus the cost for insurance coverage. Material fees also cover the cost of ongoing bow and target maintenance, handouts and craft supplies.

*$150 fee will be assessed for any damage to equipment due to negligence or misuse on behalf of the student.
