Christ Centered Friendship/Social Skills (K-6)

Christ Centered Friendship Class

This class will be for typical and children with special needs that are looking to grow Christ centered friendships and to learn what God says in His word on how we are to love one another. 

Each class will include a lesson and activities that will allow the children to put into practice what they are learning.

16: Building Friendships

17: Accountability in Friendships 

18: Changing Friendships

19: Harmful Friendships

I will incorporate for following social skills as well: 

1. Greetings and Eye contact 

2. How to communicate when we are angry or sad/ Self-control

3. Putting others before ourself

4. Confidence building

5. Public Speaking

6. Relationship building 

7. How to help others

8. Bullying 

9. Being Assertive 

10. Identifying our strengths and talents to use for Gods Glory

Activities include: 

1. Crafting together, making a info page about our friend, making a card for someone etc. 

2. Playing various games.

3. Prayer request time. 

4. Scripture memorization. 

5. Class discussions.

Etc. 

 My heart is for elementary age children to learn how to create Christ centered friendships at school, church and even in their neighborhood. I want to help equip children to love people as we face challenges in relationships. Gods word says the two most important things are to love Him and second to love others. 

I also want to help typical children to grow a heart for children with special needs. We are all made in the image of God and I think its important for us to learn how to love others the way He wants and intended for us.

Payment Schedule:

Class fee $160+$20 material fee

First Semester:

$50 deposit due by August 15th to guarantee a spot 

$50 due first week of September 

$40 due first week of October 

$40 due first week of November 

Second Semester: 

$50 deposit due by January 9th to guarantee a spot 

$50 due first week of February 

$40 due first week of March

$40 due first week of April 

Current payment options: Venmo @Msbeeshomeschool, Cash, Check

*This class can not be submitted for Charter School reimbursement*

(Other things to submit for reimbursement to cover the cost of class: 3 months internet bill, activities, household stationary)
